Sahibs Auto Electrics has a comitment to reduce our impact on the environment.We have a commitment to aim to reduce our impact on the environment. We realise that acting in a socially and environmentally responsible way is more than just a legal duty. Being environmentally friendly does not mean that the quality of our products should be compromised, ensuring you receive high quality products that can also be good for the environment and are affordable.
1.Turning old into nearly new: by providing re-manufactured starters, alternators and dynamos, we create 70% energy and materials savings.
2. Carbon footprint: By adhering to innovative low carbon strategies, we aim to reduce our carbon emission levels across our entire supply chain. In addition to embracing simple energy saving techniques, such as low energy light bulbs and nominal packaging, we are committed to embracing new advancements as and when they become available.
3.Waste management and recycling: Every business has a responsibility to control their impact on the environment and, at Sahibs, our approach to waste management is one we take very seriously. All of our packaging is re-used or recycled. We’re working non-stop to ensure our waste volumes are kept to the bare minimum. The less waste we produce, the more money we save; savings which can be passed directly onto our customers.
Did you know? According to the WTO report*; The energy needed to manufacture one new automobile starter is 11times greater than that needed to remanufacture an old starter. For a new alternator, the amount is 7 times greater than that for its remanufactured counterpart. In percentage terms, a remanufactured starter is produced at 9 percent of the energy it takes to manufacture a new starter, while for alternators it is 14 percent.

Our Quality System
Underpinning our remanufacturing process is a quality management system developed to the highest European Standards. Our quality processes, however, are not restricted to our manufacturing activities, but cover the complete service we offer. Our factory in India has attained ISO 9001:2008 Quality Systems Standard, which we are proud to maintain throughout our prcess from receipt of core to delivery of the remanufactured unit.
